Celebrating for 17th anniversary of the launch the Saudi satellite 1C SO-50
The Saudi Amateur Radio Society (SARS) in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) celebrates the 17th anniversary of the launch of the Saudi satellite 1C SO-50 in December 2002.
Saudi satellite 1C SO-50 is still working to this moment, breaking all expectations due to the quality of the technology Made with it and how it works, a HZ17SAT call signal has been extracted.
SARS has allocated prizes for the participating stations by calling via the Saudi satellite and set them according to the following conditions:

2- The connection is on the Saudi satellite SO-50 only.
3- Geographic Focus: Worldwide
4- Exchange: call + RST +Grid
5- QSO Points: Any QSO count 2 points.
6- Multipliers: 4 digits grid square
7- Score Calculation: Total score = total QSO points x total mults.
8- Mail logs to: SO-50@SARS.SA
9- Last date for receiving the log 2019/12/27 23:59 UTC
