About us

Establishing : 

Saudi Amateur Radio Society was established by the associations and institutions system issued by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 61 dated 18/02/1437 AH and its implementing regulations issued by Ministerial Decree No. 73 739 dated 11/06/1437 AH.

Objectives :

1- Dissemination and promotion of Radio hobby between the interested people according to applied policy from the CITC.
2- Organization of local and regional competitions between amateur radio and to participate in international competitions.
3- Participate in the preparation of technical cadres for the purpose of providing assistance in case of emergency.
4- Training the amateur for how to use Radio devices and equipments and provide all the necessary tools for this purpose.
5- Participate in exhibitions, conferences and seminars held inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
6- Representing radio amateurs internally and externally at the competent authorities within scope of the international agreements governing the use of radio frequencies for amateurs.
7- To strengthen relations and reciprocation experiences with similar societies in the Gulf countries and the world.

Vision :

In line with the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, We established this Society To develop the means of communications in order to develop relations and communication between the different peoples of the world and the exchange of experience And knowledge among them and contribute to the circumstances and emergency situations.
